Dental varnishes provide great protection for patients’ teeth, but patients often must overcome unpleasant flavors and sensations to experience these benefits.
The Solution
Profluorid Varnish
- A thin, transparent 5% sodium fluoride varnish that quickly sets in seconds after contact with saliva
- Available in a range of pleasant Xylitol-containing flavors with no aftertaste including caramel, melon, mint, cherry, bubble gum, and the recently launched cola lime
- With its enhanced flow characteristics, the varnish easily covers the tooth surface and reaches areas some more viscous varnishes miss, leaving the teeth feeling smooth
- The varnish has a high immediate fluoride release that can help relieve hypersensitivity
