We recently sat down with Dr. Anna A. Danieli of Renton, Wash., to talk about CareCap, a new way for dental practices to offer payment plan options to their patients.
What impact has CareCap made on your dental practice?
CareCap has impacted our practice in an unexpectedly big way. It has really grabbed the attention of patients interested in an "actual, honest payment plan" that is "hassle-free" and truly "easy to understand." It can be difficult to try and sell ways to finance medical payments once you start talking about them. They get confusing and you lose the patient’s hope and understanding about obtaining the true payment plan with ease that he or she needs. CareCap is easy to understand and patients continue to listen while comprehending how it will work. Because of that, they will sign up and get the work they need done.
Why did you choose CareCap over other options available to you?
I kept asking, "But where is the catch?" There just wasn't one. The person explaining it was truly genuine, and so is the process.
How have you worked with your team to ensure CareCap is explained to your patients?
It did not take much for training them. I showed it to them as if they needed help making their own medical payments more affordable, and we all pretty much do these days.
What is the biggest reason you would recommend CareCap to your colleagues?
I manage our systems in place, therefore I have to manage the CareCap process. It’s easy. As a patient and manager, there's no way to go wrong.
