The EdgePRO irrigation system works by a 3-pronged approach, creating a clean and disinfected root canal. It is designed to integrate into a practice’s workflow so a clinician can clean and obturate canals as they would normally do.

The How*

The EdgePRO laser-assisted microfluidic irrigation device utilizes BIOLASE’s Er,Cr:YSGG 2780-nm wavelength technology. Using this technology, the EdgePRO irrigation device can make root canal procedures easier, more efficient, and safer for both the patient and practitioner. This laser technology can be used for debridement, cleaning, and disinfection for root canal procedures and uses laser light-sound technology paired with irrigation. These technologies paired together create an ideal system for disinfection in endodontic procedures.
