Dental laboratories interested in adding Roland’s DWX-50 mill to their CAD/CAM operations can now look to Whip Mix, as the Louisville, Ky., company recently announced it is an authorized provider of the milling system.

The compact DWX-50 mill provides clean, quiet operation and precision machining of copings, crowns and bridges at an affordable price point. With a small footprint and a high capacity, it is suitable for laboratories of all sizes.

With 5-axis simultaneous machining capability and a 5-station automatic tool changer, the mill is efficient and capable. An integrated air blower system aids with difficult to machine materials, and a built in dust tray that can be easily connected to any lab vacuum system helps keep the cutting area free of debris.

The milling system is noted for its quality and precision and now is available from Whip Mix, a company renowned for providing high quality support and service.

The mill joins other CAD/CAM technologies available through Whip Mix, including a range of scanners from 3Shape.

“Whip Mix is excited to add the DWX-50 to our line of CAD/CAM products, which provide innovative, affordable and profitable solutions for dental laboratories,” the company said in a press release.
