The iTero® imaging system is now available as a single hardware platform with software options for restorative and orthodontic procedures. During the Chicago Dental Society Midwinter Meeting, DPR talked with Mitchem about his experience with Align’s iTero imaging system.
In addition to it being his biggest time saver, Curtis says he always gets perfect crowns with the iTero.
The improved iTero has advanced optics and enhanced algorithms that are said to substantially increase the speed of capture to reduce overall scanning time.
“You end up with margins that are smoother than what you’re accustomed to with a stone model and fits you just will love,” Mitchem says.
