The editors of Dental Products Report® share another look at 5 of the most innovative products launched in the past year.
While other compilation lists in this issue are chosen by our audience, this list differs in that it was chosen by our editorial team. These products were highlighted upon their release, by either being featured on our cover or being selected as an Editor’s Choice Product. The products featured here represent what we believe to be real advancements in the practice of dentistry for dental professionals and the patients they treat. Here are the Top 5 Editor’s Choice Products.
Permanent Crown Resin
Created for the production of 3D-printed definitive dental restorations either chairside or in a lab, Permanent Crown Resin is said to make CAD/CAM crown and bridge cases easier and less expensive to complete. A tooth-colored, ceramic-filled resin, the material was developed to produce single crowns, inlays, onlays, and veneers. The Permanent Crown Resin material is described as an affordable alternative to milled crowns while offering the high strength, color stability, and physical durability required in a permanent restoration.

It features a fully supportive headpiece and it has up to 3 in of adjustable frontal clearance.
