RTD announces new QUARTZ SPLINT reinforcement fibers
RTD, the company known for fiber-reinforced endodontic posts, has announced a new line of reinforcement fibers, offering multiple applications in restorative, pediatric, orthodontic, prosthodontic, periodontic and endodontic practice.
RTD, the company known for fiber-reinforced endodontic posts, has announced a new line of reinforcement fibers, offering multiple applications in restorative, pediatric, orthodontic, prosthodontic, periodontic and endodontic practice.
QUARTZ SPLINT is offered in four varieties, some of which are interchangeable within clinical indications on a case-by-case basis.
QUARTZ SPLINT reportedly has been independently proven to offer flexural strength superior to polyethylene or glass fiber products, and high bond strength to tooth structure. All four styles of the pre-impregnated fibers are presented in special, light-proof packaging that protects the product from ambient light, and permits safe storage of unused material for subsequent treatments. There are introductory kits available, which include one or two varieties of fibers, along with resins for optional re-wetting the fibers, and a shaded “flowable” for covering the fibers. There are also refill packages available.
