The new VARIOStar D50 Brushless Handpiece is designed to provide reliability and smooth performance. The ergonomic design of this handpiece and brushless motor reportedly enables smooth, fatigue-free operation up to 40,000 RPM.

While delivering smooth solid torque all through the speed spectrum is important, the VARIOStar D50 motor comes equipped with a microprocessor that not only functions to precisely control the maximum speed at all times, but also monitors the system for overloads to ensure safe operation. A thermal fuse is also provided for increased safety. ??The new handpiece system is available with a foot or knee pedal.
