Newly launched discs reportedly optimize chip transport during work on acrylic and veneering ceramics.
Specially designed to reportedly ensure optimal chip removal while separating, pre-cutting and contouring acrylic and veneering ceramics, new double-sided discs from Komet USA incorporate coarse diamond grains, as indicated by the instrument’s green color ring for ease of identification.
The discs are offered in two sizes. The D2014.HP.180 measures 18mm in diameter while the D2014.HP.220 has a 22mm diameter. The instrument's coarse-diamond grit is engineered to allow for effective, exceptionally precise material removal when operated at an optimal speed of 15,000 min-1 (maximum 20,000 min-1).
