Hemostyp Hemostatic Gauze is created naturally from regenerated cellulose and is said to offer effective fluid control and protection on wounds.

While in contact with blood, saline or water, the cellulose converts to a collagen-like substance, reaching a viscosity that has the to bond with damaged platelets and blood vessels.  Once placed and saturated, the Hemostyp dissolves or can be washed away with water or saline.  Hemostyp is pre-cut, sized and packaged in blister packs for dental use.
