Formlabs to Host Fifth Annual Virtual Summit to Showcase Innovations

3D printing company Formlabs has announced that its Formlabs User Summit will be returning this year from October 26-27th, 2022. This all-virtual summit will invite customers to register and share the various innovations that have been printed using Formlabs 3D printers, according to a press release from Formlabs.

This summit will feature discussions, speakers, and sessions, to help dental professionals bolster their knowledge on 3D printing. Speakers and thought leaders are:

• Sheri Thorn, NASA Goddard
• Amy Alexander, Mayo Clinic
• Dr Alejandro Pineda, Clinica Lhasa
• Jessica Rosenkrantz and Jesse Louis-Rosenberg, Nervous System
• Ryan Mandell, Penn State
• Jaco Synman, Dreamsmith

Sessions will be available in 8 languages, and a User Talk Track will highlight case studies and 3D printing in a variety of industries. It will also feature the Impact Awards to recognize 3D printed parts that have innovated their industries, according to Formlabs co-founder and CEO Max Loboysky.

“Each year, the Formlabs User Summit is an opportunity to celebrate everything that our community has accomplished and inspire future innovators. Our users achieved an amazing milestone, printing more than 100 million parts with Formlabs printers,” Loboysky said in the press release. “This year’s Summit and expanded Impact Awards will shine the spotlight on the many ways that their 3D printed designs, prototypes, and devices have made an impact on the medical, automotive, and entertainment industries, to name a few.”

Registration is open now on Formlabs’s website. Attendees registered by August 21, 2022, will be entered to win their choice of a Form 3+ or Form 3B+ stereolithography (SLA) 3D printer.
