This temporary cement from VOCO America is formulated to secure restorations without discoloration.

Information provided by VOCO America.

What: Provicol QM Aesthetic

Who: VOCO America Inc.
888-658-2584 | vocoamerica.com

Where: Any dental practice.

When: Suitable for cases requiring temporary cementation, including provisional or definitive inlays, onlays, crowns, partial crowns/veneers, and bridges.

Why: Provicol QM Aesthetic is a zinc oxide–based, non-eugenol temporary cement designed to secure provisional crowns and bridges without negatively affecting the color of temporary restorations. Its semi-elastic consistency allows for easy cleanup and removal. It achieves a translucent appearance that will not change the overlying color of the temporary. Because it’s a zinc oxide–based cement, Provicol QM Aesthetic does not permanently bond to composite core buildups, simplifying the removal of temporaries.

*The How: Provicol QM Aesthetic achieves its translucency by utilizing a glass matrix with polyhedral particles. It is highly radiopaque and features a very low film thickness of 7 µm for excellent fit and retention. Provicol QM Aesthetic is formulated with calcium hydroxide, which is designed to promote tertiary dentin development while helping to prevent sensitivity.
