Where:
Lightweight and rechargable with a cordless foot pedal, the Bluewave is completely portable for effortless movement between operatories.

When:
The Bluewave is an easy-to-use and versatile laser that is suitable for a wide range of soft tissue procedures. Simplifying treatment protocols for enhanced procedural efficiency, the Bluewave features 3 intuitive preprogrammed settings (debride, perio, and cut) plus one custom setting.

Why:
Benefits for the clinician include incremental revenue through additional procedures kept in the office, increased patient acceptance, and more patient referrals. The laser has the ability to enhance virtually all soft tissue procedures and expand the scope of in-office periodontal treatments offered. For your patient, laser-assisted dentistry results in a reduction of postoperative pain, reduced swelling and discomfort, elimination of sutures, and faster healing time.

*The How:
The Bluewave emits the optimal wavelength of 810nm, giving it the highest affinity to hemoglobin and melanin. Diode lasers cut soft tissue, cauterize nerve endings and sterilize the surgical site all at the same time. This produces a more predictable surgical result with faster and more comfortable healing than with a scalpel or electrocautery techniques. The unique blue aiming beam produces higher contrast on blood and oral tissues, resulting in greater visibility and accuracy. Allowing for up to 3 hours of continuous use on its rechargeable lithium-ion battery, the Bluewave is ideal as a surgical instrument or for noninvasive laser-assisted periodontal and hygiene therapy.
