The 2014 Pulpdent Corporation National Sales Meeting took place November 3-5 in Boston. 50 sales and marketing professionals attended to discuss product knowledge and development, education and sales.
With Pulpdent’s 2014 North American sales up 11.6% over 2013 and with worldwide sales up 10.1%, the meeting was upbeat and inspiring with a focus on education and product knowledge.
Marcy Buckler, National Sales Manager, reported: “The meeting was totally exciting. ACTIVABioACTIVE products have established Pulpdent as the leader in research and product development for bioactive materials, and this has elevated the entire Pulpdent range to a new level of recognition and success.”
In addition to Pulpdent’s North American sales team, guests included Pulpdent’s distribution partners in the UK, France, Eastern Europe and New Zealand.
Recurring themes at the meeting were giving teeth what they need to be healthy, doing the right thing for patients, the gift of bioactive materials, understanding the challenges faced by dental practitioners, disruptive innovation, and doing well by doing good. Dr. Sherwin Shinn, recipient of both the prestigious Jefferson Award for outstanding achievement in public service and the ADA 2013 Humanitarian Award, delivered an inspirational keynote address to set the stage for these themes. Larry Clark, Director of Marketing and Clinical Affairs and Connie Kugel, RDH, Professional Relations and Marketing Manager, conducted educational programs and hands-on workshops. Karen Comisi, CDA, discussed communication with patients about the benefits of bioactive materials and the increased office production and profitability generated by using ACTIVA BioACTIVE materials.
A presentation by Patterson Branch Manager Ed Ferrero maintained the lively pace and kept the focus on the unique world of the wet-finger dentist. Mr. Ferrero coached the sales team on working with our dental dealer partners to help grow their business and add value to their customer relationships.
