Why does the Chicago Dental Society Midwinter Meeting matter? This is probably a question that many of you in your practice, office or home have been asking during the last few days as we here at Dental Products Report have been giving you the ground-floor coverage.
Well, according to Dr. John Flucke and Dr. Lou Graham, it does matter. It matters a lot.
“This is my 30th Midwinter Meeting …,” explains Graham. “This meeting is a happening meeting. There are so many new products that are launched it’s kind of like our cologne of the U.S. There’s just so much going on.”
Graham says Midwinter is the ultimate place to ask the question: “What are we looking for, for our practice?” Trade shows, such as Midwinter, is the place to answer this question in hundreds of different ways in one environment.
“This is one of those shows where they launch all the new stuff,” adds Flucke. “If you want to be on top of what the new stuff is, Chicago was like Mecca. You’ve got to journey here at some point in your career.”
