Vident, a VITA company, just announced the appointment of Fred Ketcho as its new president, effective immediately. Ketcho most recently worked as the Vice President/General Manager of the Americas Region of Datacard, where he simultaneously served as the President of Datacard Canada. Prior to Datacard, Ketcho worked for Huges Aircraft and Honeywell, where he achieved increasing levels of responsibility, eventurally serving as the Global Director and General Manager of the Industrial Business Unit.

Ketcho received his Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Lehigh University in Penn. and his Master of Science degree from the University of California, Los Angeles.
