[ UNIVERSAL COMPOSITE ]
EDITORS CHOICE Its added simplicity comes with superior strength, lifelike esthetics, and long-lasting performance.
Described as a simplified universal composite with adaptive response technology, SimpliShade™ Universal Composite is formulated to streamline your restoration workflow and inventory management, without compromising strength or esthetics. Featuring three shades (light, medium, and dark), it makes it quick and easy to match all 16 VITA® Classical Shades—resulting in quicker shade-matching that leads to faster chair time. With less product to stock, re-order, and track, SimpliShade allows doctors to focus on caring for patients instead of managing inventory.
[ Electric Motor System ]
Integrated Electric Motor System
DCI Edge and NSK introduce a seamlessly integrated electric motor system to be built into all DCI Edge delivery systems. The co-engineered system fully integrates the NLZ E Electric Motor and its licensed differentiators, including WaveOne® technology. The motor has a custom interface to guide clinicians as they work, placing all the control at their fingertips. Its ergonomic design and intuitive operation help minimize unnecessary movement, keeping treatment as streamlined as possible for greater efficiency, and a better treatment experience overall. The system’s unique touchpad interface is engineered for complete integration with the NSK NLZ E Electric Motor.
[ In-office Water Tester ]
Sterisil and Agenics Labs have launched the MyCheck™ in-office paddle test. Water testing has long been a critical aspect of a complete and effective water treatment program. As more practices have added water tests into their infection control practices, a need arose for economical, fast, and convenient methods for checking bacterial content in dental coolants. MyCheck is designed to provide bacterial colony counts quickly and confidently without the hassles and expense of a mail-in test. The clinic simply collects a sample from a dental handpiece, inoculates the paddle with the sampled water, incubates the paddle at room temperature for 72 hours, and counts the colonies.
[ Data Security ]
Cyber Security Employee Training
Speedy Cyber Rescue’s Cyber Security Employee Training helps a dental practice to identify and prevent employee vulnerabilities before they cause a data breach. Employee training may be the single most important line of defense against cyber criminals because human error is linked to more than 92% of breaches. The program features the detection of employee data on the dark web, baseline security training, simulated phishing, the development of security policies and procedures, risk measurements, and more.
[ Air Filtration ]
CASPR Medik™ is now available as an HVAC solution as well as a new portable unit called CASPR Compact Medik. CASPR stands for Continuous Air and Surface Pathogen Reduction. Given the heightened awareness of the risk to clinicians from Aerosol Generating Procedures, this solution is well suited for dental offices. At the heart of the system is its Medik disinfection technology which reacts with the H2O molecules found in the air to continuously create highly effective oxidizing molecules such as hydrogen peroxide (H2O2).

Following success in Europe, the electric toothbrush ION-Sei is launching in the US, equipped with its innovative patented ionic technology. It is designed to effectively remove and control the spread of bacteria on the teeth by coating teeth with natural charge ions while brushing, which effectively and persistently suppresses the adhesion of the bacteria that causes plaque. It is now more important than ever to maintain your oral hygiene, particularly in the oral cavity, which is closely linked to the health of the entire body, helping to support the immune system by maintaining an environment in which viruses and bacteria cannot easily enter.
[ Prophy Paste ]
VOCO introduces CleanJoy, a fluoride and xylitol-containing, minimally abrasive prophy paste.
CleanJoy’s Fine Dual Filler (FDF) Technology allows for gentle but effective stain removal. The optimized filler particles lead to a smoother patient experience without the sandy feeling found in traditional pastes, as well as optimized splatter-control for the clinician. All grits are within ADA-recommended RDA values, preserving tooth structure and making cleaning and polishing as minimally invasive as possible.
CleanJoy is paraben, gluten and nut-free, reducing allergy risks.
The new prophy paste comes in SingleDose cups packaged in an easy-dispenser box. It is available in sweet caramel, fresh mint, and fruity cherry flavors, and in three minimally abrasive grits—fine, medium and course, which are conveniently color-coded for quick and easy identification. CleanJoy has a stable, homogenous consistency and it will not clump or dry out.
VOCO is excited to introduce CleanJoy prophy paste formulated to allow the health care provider to offer their patients a better, gentler and healthier cleaning experience.
