Created from the collaboration between BIOMET 3i (biomet3i.com) and Renishaw (renishaw.com), 3i incise™ combines expanded software with the Renishaw Scanner (an enhancement kit also is available for the ProceraForte® Scanner) and both in-lab and centralized milling options to create a versatile CAD/CAM system for producing copings and frameworks for a range of cases.

The 3i incise software is designed to work in concert with the Renishaw Scanner, which features a smaller stylus validated within a 20-micron accuracy. Designs can be milled from zirconia in six shades on the Renishaw Dental Milling Machine, which is designed to fit on a benchtop and is capable of milling wax copings and frameworks.

Because the mills at BIOMET’s and Renishaw’s manufacturing sites are identical to the benchtop mill, designs can be sent to be milled at either the in-lab benchtop unit, or sent to BIOMET 3i or Renishaw from within the 3i incise software.
