The app-connected Beam Brush manual toothbrush has a sensor embedded into it that maps brushing behavior and sends the data to an associated Android or iPhone app via Bluetooth.
The Beam App allows users to connect to multiple brushes and upload brushing length and frequency data to an easy-to-read interface so that the entire family can compare statistics. Users also have the option to send their data to their dentist ahead of cleaning appointments so oral care habits can be considered in treatment planning. The app includes a timer that can play music for 2 minutes while brushing and indicate when it’s time to replace the brush head.
