In today's world of candy and sugary soft drinks children aged five and under are in special need of dental care and oral health education.
Today, at the Richmond International Raceway, Missions of Mercy is partnering with the American Dental Association Foundation, The Virginia Dental Association, 3M ESPE and Henry Schein Cares to provide kids in the Richmond area with the dental services they need through a project called, Give Kids A Smile. ??Members of the dental professional community from all over the state of Virginia have traveled to Richmond today to get involved with the effort.??
About 300 kids are participating in the event today and they will all walk away with new knowledge of the importance of oral health as well as different tricks and tips they can use to stay healthy with oral hygiene.
