KaVo’s new MASTERtorque™ handpiece boasts more power, higher precision and less noise

KaVo’s new MASTERtorque™ LUX M8900 L Air Driven high-speed dental handpiece features better power, higher precision and more new features to allow dental professionals to work faster and more efficiently.

According to KaVo, the M8900 L features 20 percent more power at 23 watts, the lowest noise level available at 57 decibels and new Direct Stop Technology™. Direct Stop Technology stops the bur in less than one second (on average) when the Dr. steps off the foot control. This increases working efficiency and reduces the potential for soft tissue damage. DST also prevents the drawback of aerosols and debris, increasing the life of the turbine and improving overall handpiece hygiene.
