Kim Novak of Piezosurgery Incorporated says the company’s Piezosurgery® device means faster healing and less pain for patients - a win-win all around.

The ultrasonic microvibrations of the Piezosurgery® device have been developed specifically for cutting bone tissue while minimizing trauma to soft tissue. The micrometric cutting action provides surgical precision and intra-operative sensitivity, while the selective cutting action maximizes safety for the clinician and patients.

“Piezosurgery® has changed bone surgery as we know it,” Novak says. “It uses ultrasonic vibrations to cut bone very precisely … and is very safe on soft tissue.”

She adds anytime a patient can receive treatment with a single-stage surgery, it’s less time out of work for them, less pain and recovery time - overall it’s efficient for everyone, clinician included.
