Frontier Dental Laboratories has created Brilliance Z, a monolithic full-contour zirconia structure. Brilliance Z is made of pre-sintered yttria stabilized tetragonal zirconia polycrystalline ceramics (YTZP) for use as CAD/CAM milling blanks. It has a flexural strength of Mpa 1000 +/- 1-Mpa.

Brilliance Z can be prescribed for single units and up to 4-unit bridges. It can be substituted for PFM’s and gold crowns to address tight bites, bruxers and grinders. Through the use of CAD/CAM technology, Brilliance Z is CAD designed and milled to create a crown or bridge that ensures precise marginal fit.

Frontier technicians stain & glaze the milled restorations to give it natural-looking translucency. Brilliance Z can be cemented using traditional dental cements, and is Health Canada & FDA approved.
