EnvisionTEC and exocad announce software integration

Dental 3D printing equipment and material manufacturer EnvisionTEC and exocad, a dental CAD/CAM software manufacturer for the dental lab, announced their software integration to streamline the digital dental workflow during Lab Day Chicago, Feb. 20-22. 

The exoprint tool included with exocad’s DentalCAD software is designed to ensure a seamless workflow with 3D printers. Designs and associated information can be passed directly from DentalCAD to EnvisionTEC’s Envision One RP software using an open XML-based interface. This collaboration allows customers of both companies to benefit from a streamlined digital workflow from the initial scan through the design phase to 3D printing.

“We are excited to offer our customers additional tools to optimize their digital dental workflow,” said Al Siblani, EnvisionTEC CEO. “The Envision One RP software’s ease of use is now increased.”
