3M ESPE recently released a video in which a dentist, dental clinician and patient offer high praise for the company’s prescription-strength Clinpro™ 5000 anti-cavity toothpaste.
Said to deliver fluoride, strengthen enamel and reverse early white spot lesions, Clinpro 5000 features a proprietary tri-calcium phosphate ingredient. A protective barrier is created around the calcium during manufacturing to allow it to coexist with the fluoride ions. This barrier breaks down when it comes in contact with saliva, allowing remineralization to occur.
