DentalPost Releases 2022 Dental Professional Salary Survey Report

Dental online and mobile job board DentalPost has released its 2022 Dental Salary Survey Report for dental professionals and practices. This survey is a culmination of over 13,000 salary insights from dental professionals, including dentists, hygienists, assistants, and front office team members. DentalPost has collated and analyzed the responses to publish this survey, said to be a comprehensive and robust resource of the dental ecosystem, according to DentalPost Founder and CEO Tonya Lanthier, RDH.

“So much has changed for the dental industry in the last year, and many dental professionals are wondering if the grass is greener on the other side,” Lanthier said in a press release from the company. “Our 2022 Dental Salary Survey Report, which is specific to each role, will help dental professionals and practices gauge competitive compensation and navigate career and hiring decisions.”

The survey asked a variety of questions pertaining to salaries, compensation, bonuses, benefits, and work conditions in the practice. This year, DentalPost’s survey was expanded to gather more contextual data as the dental industry navigates the COVID-19 pandemic, and the subsequent labor shortages. These data points include, state-by-state income averages, median income, practice setting, bonus compensation, differences between private and corporate practices, job turnover, income satisfaction, planned years to retirement, and more. This was done in hopes to give practice owners insight on how to navigate recruiting and turnover.

The full report or survey results is available on DentalPost’s website.
