Zubler USA has announced the VARIO S400 Sintering oven is now available. The furnace is the result the CAD/CAM enginee?ring expertise of Dental Concept Systems combined with the experienced furnace engineers at Zubler in Germany.

The importance of the sintering process during the manufacture of restorations from zirconium oxide has long been underestimated. New pre-sintering staining options and an increased variety of materials reportedly require more complex processing options that few sintering furnaces on the market can handle. The VARIO S400 is designed to address these complex processing needs with proven and advanced technology.

Some of the reported features of the VARIO S400 include:

H/P MoSi2 S: High Purity Molybdenum Disilicide Speed Heating Elements manufactured with the same high quality standards, in the same type of controlled environment used in semiconductor manufacturing. This is said to be important for consistency in heat dispersion and element.

TTC MODE: The software and firing chamber design enable a linear cooling to prevent chipping, micro-fractures and cracks in zirconia ceramics.

PFC SAFETY: Zubler's Power Failure Control feature recognizes when a power failure has occurred during the running of a program and continues the program once power is restored.

TOUCH GLASS DISPLAY: Clean, easy to maintain and tough, Zubler's safety glass touch panel with color display allows for dependable, easy and safe usage for years to come. The new panels are equipped with LED Backlight displays for broader viewing angles and  long lifespans.

USB CONNECT: Designed with some of the same feature and capabilities as some of Zubler's other ceramic oven lines, the USB connectivity feature allows for easy access to new programs and software updates.

Reported advantages of the VARIO S400:

  • Stackable two tray capacity

  • Efficient sintering times via Speed heating and cooling phases

  • Preset and safe sintering programs with free programmability for speed sintering and traditional programs

  • Process reliability via Power Fail Control with automatic re-sintering in case of energy loss

  • Open programming architecture to address the needs of future materials

  • Automated purging program

  • USB programmability and Updatability
