CS WinOMS Cloud stores applications, patient information and data in one place, providing dental teams with 24/7 access to needed files from any device with an internet connection. Plus, sensitive patient and practice management files are backed up and maintained by Carestream Dental with HIPAA-compliant storage. Also, the cloud version of CS WinOMS is automatically updated with the software, eliminating the need to manually upgrade new versions.
CS WinOMS Cloud reportedly lets oral surgeons expand their practice by adding new locations and user without having to pay for additional IT infrastructure. Also, the cloud solution is said to offer financial predictability with monthly fees that eliminate the need to purchase separate software licenses.
Optional modules in CS WinOMS cloud include EMR-Elite, which offers a library of customizable templates for paperless documentation of patient reports, consent forms and more; Point-of-Care, which provides oral surgeons with the option to view patient information on tablet PCs anywhere in the office; as well as the TruForm module, which lets patients submit their own demographics, insurance information and health history through a practice’s website.
