Dr. Bradford Picot praises the Renaissance Collection dental cabinets from Pelton & Crane.

Dr. Bradford Picot’s Henry Schein representative, Jay Barringer, introduced him to the Renaissance Collection in September 2009 after he shared his vision of building a dental practice from scratch. With their shared objective of creating an environment that didn’t feel like a dental office, they immediately decided to incorporate the sleek and artistic cabinetry into all of the operatories. Dr. Picot believed the modern, sleek look of the cabinetry would complement both the practice’s esthetics and extensive technology to provide the perfect backdrop for the ideal patient experience.

What do you like about the Renaissance Collection? What are the main benefits for your patients?
The cabinetry makes a sleek first impression on our patients that produces a sense of comfort and confidence in the attention to detail. It has allowed us to seamlessly integrate a great deal of technology into the office through its USB  ports, hidden computer docking station, multiple lights, multiple electrical outlets and table space. Our patients do not look around while in our chairs and see that typical, stark medical look thanks to this cabinetry. They feel more at ease and confident they are going to receive the highest quality of care. My team loves it as it also makes them feel they’re not in a dental office. They also appreciate the incredible amount of storage and easy access before and during procedures. They enjoy receiving compliments on their beautifully designed work environment.

What has been the dental staff’s response to working with this product?
I found it very difficult to find cabinetry that is both artistically pleasing and functional. We integrated the quarry engineered stone countertops with a dark brown look for an artsy feel. Pelton & Crane has done a phenomenal job with this line. The look this cabinetry has given my practice is great internal marketing and has helped to differentiate us in this market.

Why would you recommend this to a colleague?
I would definitely recommend this to a colleague. Anyone seeking to create an environment that is both esthetically pleasing for patients and highly functional for the dental team will appreciate this product. A lot of thought went into this and I’m still discovering more benefits and features each day. This is a real exciting time for us.
