Still pending 501(k) clearance, BIOLASE’s NewTom VG3 offers greater accuracy and the sharpest, clearest images possible, plus much more.

Boasting a dynamic, single-rotation field of view, the NewTom VG3 takes precise 1:1 scale images, allowing practitioners to view both small anatomical parts and larger aspects of the mandibular canal.

In turn, this leads to greater patient comfort because they can relax during the scan, which leads to better diagnosis, treatment planning, and a more collaborative and educational consent process.

To further ensure patient comfort and safety, the NewTom VG’s SafeBeam™ technology automatically adjusts radiation dosages to correspond to the density of the volume in the gantry, plus it offers a wide array of custom adjustments.  The result is customizable exposure for each scan and consistently high-quality images.

Additionally, the NewTom VG3 is equipped with a removable 2D sensor, which allows operators to safely remove the sensor for use on the Ceph arm. Billed as an ideal solution for practices that require a high-quality device at a competitive price, the 2D sensor allows practitioners to make panoramic, TMJ, maxilla sinus, and dynamic orthogonal tomogram examinations, plus it can enhanced to 3D or Ceph at any time.

Designed to meet the requirements and needs of clients, the NewTom VG’s NNT analysis software easily identifies mark root inclination, absorption, hyperplastic growth, tooth structure anomalies, and more.

It is also available in different versions: the expert version for taking scans, the professional version with data-processing capabilities and the NNT Viewer, which provides practitioners with the ability to view NNT-processed images.  With easy-to-use sharing and exporting capabilities, the NewTom VG’s NNT software is compatible with most third-party programs.

BIOLASE specializes in the development and manufacturing of laser and other innovations that provide patients and dental practitioners with safer, more effective treatments.
