On Friday and Saturday, April 16-17, Dr. Ed McLaren will hold a 2-day workshop at LSK 121 Midwest Training Center in Naperville, IL entitled, "Anterior and Posterior Etchable Ceramic Restorations…from Beginning to End."

Participants will learn all the necessary clinical step for successful case preparation and acceptance of bonded anterior and posterior restorations. Included in this course is "how to bond" functional esthetic prototypes to "trial" the smile for increased and predictable case  acceptance; the step-by-step process of the different types of bonded and etched ceramic preparations for anterior and posterior teeth based on the  esthetically-driven desired outcome will be demonstrated and completed by the participants; digital fabrication of ceramic restorations using CAD-CAM systems so that  participants can learn to do same-day etchable ceramic dentistry while their patients wait in the office; and accurate shade-taking and communication along with predictable adhesive cementation  procedures.

Participants will also learn and complete procedures such as a bonded diagnostic mock-up using composite (FEP); preparations for bonded etched ceramics (inlay, onlay and veneer) with a specific emphasis on how to control tooth reduction; preparations to close diastemas; preparations based on final shade determinates; and step-by-step adhesive cementation processes. Particants need to bring their own loupes for the hands-on portion of the program. Cost is $1,395; attendees will recieve 16 hours of CEU upon completion.
