Rhein83 srl, recognized internationally as a leading manufacturer of dental attachments and implant abutments, continues to achieve increased market penetration in over 75 countries globally.

In today’s ever-changing economically challenged environment, dentists and dental laboratory owners constantly pursue companies which offer high quality products with exceptional added value technical expertise.

With its company headquartered in Bologna, Italy, Rhein83 srl. has been developing and manufacturing castable spherical attachments and connecting cap systems since 1983.

Founder Mr. Ezio Nardi’s passion for dental technology unquestionably changed the methods and fabrication technique of partial denture and overdenture design. As a result eliminating the need for conventional clasp RPD’s improving patient’s oral health, comfort and general esthetics as explained by Claudia Nardi, President/CEO.

OT Equator 4 in 1
Over the past several months several new Rhein83 attachments have entered into the global marketplace under the direction of Gianni Storni, VP Global Technology.
According to Mr. Storni we have placed particular emphasis on offering dentists and laboratory solutions for many challenging case plan options including limited occlusal space or possible implant divergence. The OT Equator 4 in 1 System does just that!

Introduced in 2009, OT Equator has the lowest vertical profile, 2.1mm, and smallest width 4.4mm of any implant abutment overdenture attachment on the market, and is compatible with all implant brands. The low-profile implant abutment has gained popular recognition within the dental community, offering more space options than other overdenture systems which includes an extensive cross reference list of implant manufacturer compatibility resulting in improving denture esthetics and functionality.

Equator 4 in 1 is available in 4 versions including an economical castable, implant abutment, threaded for milled or cast bars and, Seeger system for passive bar conversion connections.
With the OT Equator 4 in 1 system added to the already extensive Rhein83 product line, the company now offers an exceptionally wide selection of attachments and implant abutment systems for various case plan design options.

Rhein83 USA, New Custom Fit Abutment Service for North America
Rhein83 USA now offers a Custom Fit Abutment Service. After several requests we have recognized the need to fill this niche market of restoring old implant fixtures and to manufacture implant abutments for narrow or wide diameter implants. As stated by Joe Tambasco, Director North America.

The added value service saves valuable time for our clients and ideal for matching and reconstructing implant cases when there is little or no documentation identifying the existing implant fixture.

This unique VIP service enables the dentist or laboratory to ship any part of the “mystery” connection such as a healing cap, screw, analog etc. to the company based in New Rochelle, N.Y., for quality control before it is sent to the manufacturing facility in Italy.

There the parts are scanned and reproduced to any size diameter with cuff heights from 1 mm to 7 mm using CAD/CAM technology.

The client can select between OT Equator, Sphero Block or Sphero Flex implant attachments and are custom-milled, creating a perfect match between the newly fabricated attachment and the original implant thread. Turn around time is approximately 8-to-10 business days.
