Dental technicians must be able to depend on separating and trimming discs when trimming different materials. Renfert’s Dynex separating and trimming discs are designed to fill that need.

The company is extending its range from eight to 22 high-tech discs with which the user reportedly can process virtually all dental materials exactly and material-friendly. With the new full Dynex range, the user now always has the correct separating and trimming disc available for every indication and every material such as ceramics, lithium disilicate, titanium, precious and non-precious restorations and more.

The three Dynex Brilliant discs facilitate customized separation and trimming of all-ceramic materials such as lithium disilicate, zirconia and hybrid materials while the new Dynex Titanium discs also enable precise cutting and processing with abutments, bars and frameworks fabricated from titanium and titanium alloys. And with 17 discs for precious metal, non-precious metal and CrCo alloys, dental technicians have a wealth of options.

Dynex discs demonstrate a cutting speed of up to 300 km/h and a high concentricity. The ultra-thin instruments also reportedly prevent high material loss, particularly with precious-metal alloys. Thanks to their material composition with cross-cut glass-fiber reinforcement, they have high flexural and fracture resistance-for less vibration and heat build-up, and increased precision and user-friendliness. This is also engineered to allow sensitive high-performance ceramics to be separated gently, without leaving cracks and chipping on the restoration.

As the reinforcement of the disc core is completely fused with the carrier material, the instruments are said to be exceptionally robust, durable and flexible with minimal self-wear.

The eight exisiting and 14 new Dynex separating and trimming discs are available in different diameters and thicknesses. For more information, visit renfert.com or call 630-762-1803.
