Ebola has certainly grabbed the headlines in recent weeks and months but, according to the CDC, the chances of someone in the United States contracting Ebola are "exceedingly uncommon."

Ebola has certainly grabbed the headlines in recent weeks and months but, according to the CDC, the chances of someone in the United States contracting Ebola are "exceedingly uncommon."

Recently, the American Dental Association published its list of resources for dental professionals. While good advice to be sure, there are still plenty of other things that dental professionals should put on their worry list ahead of Ebola.

Worry about this: The 13 scariest dental stories told to us by dental professionals

"I worry a lot more about catching the flu than I worry about anything having to do with Ebola," said Anastasia Turchetta, RDH, during a recent interview. "We're coming into the time of year when there will be plenty of patients hacking and coughing and coming down with illnesses. As dental professionals, we have to do everything we can to make sure we stay healthy and avoid those bugs. That's a much bigger concern to me than Ebola."
