WooBamboo Creates Toothbrush Heads For Sonicare

Article

The company's newest sustainable option is Certified Plastic Negative and comes in biodegradable packaging.

WooBamboo Bamboo Brush Head Replacement

WooBamboo has expanded its eco-friendly oral care line with the addition of bamboo replacement heads for electric toothbrushes. The first line of replacement heads fits Philips Sonicare electric toothbrushes, with plans to extend its offerings to other brands in the future.

WooBamboo’s toothbrush heads are made from sustainably harvested bamboo and coated in vegan soy wax to ensure longevity and keep the parts smooth. Dental-grade, tapered bristles are used, that is soft but still strong enough to produce a powerful clean. While more traditional blunt-tipped bristles are said to struggle to clean between teeth, the tapered-tip bristles are designed to perform similarly to floss. The brush heads use 86% less plastic than other leading brands, so consumers can feel good about their smiles and keeping the planet clean.

WooBamboo is said to be the first plastic negative oral care brand, and these brush heads—along with all of the company’s products—are Certified Plastic Negative. The company also uses 100% biodegradable packaging for all of its products, so consumers can compost easily at home.
