VOCO has released a new non-eugenol temporary cement, Provicol QM Plus. This cement is said to feature a strong cement and secure adhesion to ensure that temporary restorations remain in place for as long as needed.
Provicol QM Plus is formulated with calcium hydroxide and is said to be able to reduce sensitivities while helping prevent caries with its antimicrobial properties. This temporary cement has a low film thickness, which increases its ease-of-use and accuracy of fit when placing temporary crowns, bridges, onlays, and inlays. Furthermore, Provicol QM Plus is applied via a QuickMix syringe and excess material can be peeled off.
