VOCO introduces new shades for Grandio disc

Article

VOCO introduces new shades for its Grandio disc line.

VOCO has continued its expansion of computer-aided design/computer-aided manufacturing (CAD/CAM) material technology with the introduction of three additional shade options to the Grandio disc line.

The new shades, announced in a statement from VOCO, are B1, C2 and Bleach (BL).

Grandio discs are 86% filled nano-ceramic hybrids for milling crowns, inlays/onlays, veneers, and implant-supported crowns. Its ceramic composition enables VOCO’s Grandio discs to be more finely milled and achieve a fit with more accuracy. This also adds to the discs’ ability to be polished compared to pure ceramic CAD/CAM blocks or discs.

“Grandio discs offer a combination of optimal tooth-like physical properties, compressive strength, low water absorption, no shrinkage factor for 20% more output, and natural esthetics with enhanced color stability,” the press release said.

The Grandio disc’s properties are designed to mimic patients’ dentition, like thermal expansion, the statement added.
