VITA introduces new line of porcelain kits

Article

VITA’s Signature series are comprised of a custom-curated mix of porcelains.

VITA North America introduces the VITA VM® Signature series, a new line of specialty porcelain kits designed for boutique and high-production labs.

VITA’s Signature series are comprised of a custom-curated mix of porcelains (available in both powder and paste) that focus on specific and precise applications. Each kit is hand-selected and endorsed by key opinion leaders in the field and includes everything a lab needs to get up and running with VITA porcelain.

A group of esteemed dental technicians collaborated on the new VM9 Signature series kit for zirconia - the first in the series - including Peter Pizzi CDT, MDT, a prominent national and international ceramist, Bobby Williams, CDT, president of Synergy Ceramics and Victor Castro, CDT, owner of Studio 280. All three technicians bring years of proven expertise and demonstrated ability in the field of esthetic dentistry to create this one-of-a-kind kit.

“Our goal with the VITA VM9 Signature series was to put together porcelain material that we use 90 percent of the time in our labs for most of our restoration cases and make it easy for labs to get started with VITA porcelain,” says Pizzi. “The kit really covers a pretty significant range for a modest investment.”

Each kit in the VITA VM Signature series includes 30-35 porcelain bottles with detailed working instructions. This exclusive material combination and application technique is now available for use in the lab in VITA SYSTEM 3D-MASTER shades. More Signature series kits are expected to be released in the near future.

In conjunction with the Signature series, and to help labs get the most out of each kit, VITA offers a number of education courses with an emphasis on color communication and shade reproduction.
