Logicon Caries Detector 5.1

Logicon 5.1, the only commercially available, FDA-approved, computer-aided radiographic caries diagnosis software, is designed to be a unique and clinically proven tool that helps practitioners detect and treat interproximal caries at an early stage, enabling minimally invasive treatments. 





DEXcam 4


The DEXISDEXcam 4 intraoral video camera is designed for patient communication and case documentation. This new camera is said to be easy to use, provide high-resolution images, allow for left- or right-hand operation and include motor-driven focus and zoom capabilities along with a detachable cord for easy sharing among operators-all contained within a robust aluminum housing. The DEXcam 4 seamlessly integrates with DEXIS imaging software.





MASTERmatic Series


KaVo’s MASTERmatic Series premium electric handpieces are said to combine a triple-gear system and patented angle combination to provide dental professionals with the confidence they’ve come to expect from KaVo electrics. The MASTERmatic collection now offers a 20 percent smaller head size reportedly with the same exceptional power and low vibration operation. Combined with the head angle of 100˚ and the knee angle of 19˚, similar to the MASTERtorque M8900 L dental highspeed handpiece, clinicians can experience better access with optimum space and freedom of work. New to KaVo’s electric attachment portfolio is the MASTERmatic M05 L Mini highspeed handpiece, featuring a 43 percent smaller head for standard length and short shank burs. As an added benefit, online training modules are available.

Stratasys Ltd., a leading global provider of 3D printing and additive manufacturing solutions, introduced the Objet260 Dental Selection 3D Printer. The versatile new 3D printer is designed to help mid- to large-sized dental and orthodontic labs grow their businesses by producing realistic models with true-to-life look and feel as part of their end-to-end digital dentistry workflow, including intraoral scanners. Its ability to build diverse models with multiple materials on one tray and in one print job is said to increase productivity, which can further improve profitability.
