Pulpdent launches ACTIVA Presto filling material
Pulpdent has launched ACTIVA Presto, a new white dental filling material that is said to mimic the properties of natural teeth.
The material is esthetic, high strength, and contains no Bis-GMA, no Bisphenol A, and no BPA derivatives, the company said.
ACTIVA Presto’s resin is said to be moisture-friendly and facilitates the diffusion of bioavailable calcium, phosphate, and fluoride ions. This unique chemistry is designed to penetrate and integrate with tooth structure for margin-free adaptation. The material also contains a patented rubberized-resin that absorbs stress and resists wear, fracture, and chipping, even in thin areas on bevel margins.
ACTIVA Presto is available through all major dental dealers in the US.
