The Pride Institute's "Best of Class" Technology Awards represent an initiative to promote innovation in new and existing dental technology companies, providing a means through which the organization can educate those in the dental profession to use technology more effectively.
The Pride Institute's "Best of Class" Technology Awards represent an initiative to promote innovation in new and existing dental technology companies, providing a means through which the organization can educate those in the dental profession to use technology more effectively.
This year's honorees span a wide range of categories and uses, from the business-oriented to the clinical, such as the i-CAT FLX digital imaging system from Imaging Sciences International.
The i-CAT® 3D imaging solution is said to help clinicians quickly diagnose complex problems with less radiation and develop treatment plans more easily and accurately. It features 3D planning and treatment tools for implants and restorations, oral and maxillofacial surgery, orthodontics, plus TMD and airway disorders. Other features include QuickScan full dentition scan; SmartScan STUDIO ouch screen interface and integrated acquisition system; Ergonomic Stability System; i-Collimator to adjust the field-of view and limit radiation; a small footprint and i-PAN for traditional 2D images.
