With the launch of PreVu’s $99/month Starter package, dentists now reportedly have an enticing reason to incorporate the use of cosmetic dental imaging software, a powerful tool for increasing case acceptance. The new Starter package is said to offer dental practices a cost-effective way to add treatment simulations to up to 10 cosmetic consultations a month. This simple, intuitive tool reportedly makes it easy for dental professionals to display before and after simulations highlighting how a patient’s appearance may change as a result of cosmetic procedures.

With just a few clicks, dental professionals can reportedly generate before-and-after simulations in moments from any computer in their practice, then print out or email those images for patients to take home or share with family and friends via email or social media. PreVu is available to download from PreVu’s website, and it’s easy to set up and start using immediately. PreVu offers an online demo for dental practices interested in learning more prior to purchase, along with free web-based training for all new users. However, most dental professionals find it’s easy to get it up and running all on their own in just minutes by watching the Quick Tour video tutorials. PreVu’s pay-as-you-go subscription reportedly requires no contract and can be canceled at any time.

The American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD) reports that 40 percent of women and 35 percent of men agree that an imperfect smile makes someone less attractive. However, in 82 percent of cases, it’s the dentist - not the patient - who initiates dialogue about cosmetic dental treatment. When the dentist first brings up this option, the patient may not even be aware of his or her need for cosmetic improvement or possible life opportunities lost due to having a smile that lacks confidence or is otherwise unappealing. Thus, cosmetic dentistry simulation software is said to serve as a crucial visualization and communication tool for educating and bringing patients one step closer to saying 'yes' to a more beautiful smile.

PreVu’s Starter package is an introductory package that is designed to help dentists explore the potential use of cosmetic dental treatment simulations in their practice. It reportedly gives them the ability to have any team member create simulations quickly and easily right in the office while the patient is in the treatment chair. The Starter package is ideal for consultations on orthodontic procedures such as Invisalign®, Six Month Smiles®, Fastbraces® and ClearCorrect™ as well as cosmetic consultations for dental veneers, dental implants, full smile makeovers, aesthetic crown lengthening, teeth whitening and more. Its practice-branded images are designed to serve as impactful marketing resources, both in the office and beyond, by helping the practice increase its word of-mouth referrals.
