The Planmeca Digital Dentistry World Tour is going virtual on December 2, Planmeca USA announced this week.

The manufacturer of dental imaging and CAD/CAM equipment says the North American part of its popular Planmeca Digital Dentistry World Tour will go virtual this year, the latest of many events pivoting during the pandemic. This show offers dental professionals an informative, yet safe way of learning how to benefit from Planmeca’s all-digital workflow.

Attendees will learn about the latest digital dentistry innovations, including the recently launched all-in-one Planmeca Romexis® 6.0 software, which ties together all Planmeca equipment and software. Attendees will also see the entire integrated workflow firsthand, beginning with CBCT imaging and intraoral scanning to treatment planning, restorative design and fabricating.

The online event will feature three doctors who have utilized Planmeca technology to improve workflow efficiencies. Dr Zachary Evans will discuss the entire digital implant workflow; Dr Walter Renne will guide participants through a complete digital smile design case; and Dr Anthony Mennito will use a clinical case example to demonstrate how patient satisfaction and efficiency can be enhanced with same-day dentistry.
