Pac-Dent recently announced the launch of Rodin™ Bond dental adhesive system, an expansion of the Rodin™ product line. Building on the success of Rodin™ Resins, this new bonding solution is compatible with both direct and indirect restorations, and is optimized for use with 3D printed indirect cases.

A versatile light-cured dental adhesive, Rodin Bond incorporates state-of-the-art glass filler technology, to reportedly set a new standard for bond strength and performance that surpasses conventional unfilled adhesive systems.

By deeply permeating dentin tubules and reinforcing the hybrid zone, Rodin Bond provides a high bond strength. Its versatility extends to a wide range of dental materials, including dentin, enamel, composites, zirconia, and various dental metals commonly used in porcelain-fused-to-metal crowns and bridges.

The new bonding system is designed to work in conjunction with Pac-Dent’s Rodin™ Sensiguard. This 2-in-1 desensitizer and primer is said to promote robust bonding while sealing dentin tubules to prevent sensitivity, and reducing the risk of caries formation beneath the restoration. The integration of Rodin Sensiguard with Rodin Bond increases the shear bond strength and adhesion on both direct and indirect surfaces. This can ultimately extend the lifespan of dental restorations.

Both Rodin Bond and Rodin Sensiguard are designed with efficiency in mind. Their bottles feature an innovative flip-top cap design that enables clinicians to precisely dispense "one-drop" of adhesive with a single hand, reducing waste and streamlining the clinical workflow. Furthermore, Pac-Dent's unit-dose packaging helps preserve the integrity of the adhesive material by shielding it from air and moisture, ensuring consistent and reliable bonding results.

Designed to work in conjunction with Rodin Sensiguard to provide dental professionals with a comprehensive bonding solution, Rodin Bond is a versatile system with efficient workflows.
