Owandy Radiology is launcing an updated version of its I-Max 3D extraoral imaging system and new distribution deal with Blue Sky Bio at the upcoming ADA/FDI World Dental Congress in San Francisco.
The updates to the imaging system include improved face scanning for enhanced diagnostics and patient communications, and new airway analysis capabilities to enable images to be used for sleep apnea diagnosis, according to a press release.

“The latest enhancements to the I-Max 3D not only improve diagnosis, treatment planning and patient acceptance for the most common and profitable dental procedures, they can help dentists who have entered the rapidly-growing field of dental sleep medicine and airway therapy become more successful clinically and financially,” says Owandy representative Boris Loyez.
The imaging system also is now available from Blue Sky Bio, a company that specializes in providing dental implants and accessories along with implant treatment planning software.
