onDiem has chosen to honor a select group of dental professionals who are said to be leaders in the space, aiming to empower these changemakers to continue to lead with compassion and integrity. These winners were recognized that American Dental Hygienist Association (ADHA) 2023 Conference at a reception.

“We announced our winners at the ADHA’s Friday Night Reception––at a venue decorated with pan-Asian symbols of healing, mercy, compassion, and abundance. There was truly no better place to celebrate our winners and nominees, who have each demonstrated exceptional commitment to creating a more empowered, diverse, and thriving dental community,” Fogg says in the press release. “The onDiem Changemakers Award is designed to empower compassionate dental professionals who, like onDiem, have made it their mission to improve the livelihoods and growth potential of our dental community. I’m humbled to be a small part of their heroic efforts.”

This year’s winners were awarded a $3000 grant. They are as follows: Carrie Wucinich, RDH, Morris Mugo, RDH, Sue Kassoff-Correia, CRDH, BS, Ryan Rutar, RDH, MAM, BS, BA, and Misty Mattingly, RDH, BS. Each of these individuals have impacted the dental profession through their many contributions.

In addition to the winners, nominees for this award have also been invited to join the onDiem community to continue giving voice to changemakers in the profession.
