OCTOdent launches Extra-Oral Aerosol Scavenger

Article

New OCTOdent vacuum system is designed to help keep patients, clinicians, and other staff safe from potentially harmful aerosol particulates.

OCTOdent Extra-Oral Aerosol Scavenger

Designed to help protect dental professionals from potentially harmful viruses, bacteria, and other aerosols and vapors, the OCTOdent aerosol suction units provide suction close to the source.

Suited for use during ultrasonic scaling, highspeed handpiece use, and other dental procedures known to generate aerosols, the unit is a standalone, hands-free device with a flexible suction source. Described as quiet and easy to move around a practice, the system is also well suited to protect clinicians and patients from the potentially harmful vapors created during the removal of amalgam dental restorations.
