Oclean Releases New X Pro Digital Smart Toothbrush
The new brush uses a gyroscope sensor to track 8 brushing behaviors in real-time.
Oral health brand Oclean has announced the launch of its latest toothbrush, the Oclean X Pro Digital Smart Sonic Toothbrush. The new brush uses a gyroscope sensor to track 8 areas in real-time brushing behaviors and identify any missed areas to improve user oral health, according to a press release from the company.
The brush features a digital touchscreen that displays instant feedback to users on their brushing score out of 100 and highlights areas that need more attention. It auto-generates a Smart Supplementary Brushing Plan in 1 click if the score is below 90, giving users extra seconds to brush the missed area for a more thorough clean.
“In our recent oral care survey, we discovered that 90% of consumers subconsciously miss certain areas during brushing—especially in hard-to-reach areas—which leads to an accumulation of plaque and potential oral problems such as bleeding, bad breath, and cavities,” Bo Liu, Oclean chief technology officer said, according to the press release. “Oclean X Pro Digital takes the guesswork out of brushing, leaving users with improved oral hygiene and teeth that have never felt so clean.”
The X Pro Digital also features a special motor that delivers a stable, quieter, and gentler vibration (up to 84,000 movements per minute), which is said to deliver 2 times the cleaning energy to each bristle tip and maximizing cleaning power while alleviating discomfort. For a more personalized experience, users can choose between 2 brush heads—Plaque Control and Delicate Clean.
When paired with the associated Care+ app, users can receive a personalized brushing report with custom solutions to help improve their brushing habits. Users can also select between 3 brushing modes—Sunrise Soothing, Sunset Clearout, and Exclusive—depending on the time of day and personal preferences. The app also works with Apple Health.
The brush features 30-day battery life, a low battery reminder, and 3-hour quick charging. It is available in 2 colors, Glamour Silver and Champagne Gold. The X Pro Digital is available on the Oclean website or through Amazon. A set that comes complete with a rechargeable travel case and 2 extra brush heads will be available soon.
