Nexa3D recently announced partnerships with CAD-Ray and Harris Discount Dental Supply, as well as new compatibility between the company’s XiP desktop 3D printer, and resins from Pac-Dent.

The new distribution partnerships position both CAD-Ray and Harris as “value-added resellers” and parts of the Nexa3D global network, according to a press release. Both companies bring extensive experience with implementing and supporting dental technologies across a range of settings.

“We’re thrilled to add Nexa3D’s ultrafast XiP 3D printer to our portfolio,” says Wayne Glassoff, vice president of 3D printing for CAD-Ray in the press release. “This printer’s accuracy, speed, and productivity combined with CAD-Ray’s deep industry expertise and exceptional customer care make for a powerhouse combination.”

Additionally, Nexa3D announced that the XiP printer is now validated for use with Rodin Denture Base 2.0, Rodin Surgical Guide 2.0, and Rodin Splint 2.0 resins from Pac-Dent. A Class II biocompatible material, that offers enhanced flexibility, stability, and a wide range of gingival shades, Rodin Base 2.0 is formulated for efficient and highly accurate production of printed denture bases. Suited for use with both for full-arch and quadrant guides, Rodin Surgical Guide 2.0 resin produces dimensionally stable guides that can be autoclaved and remain free of unpleasant odors or tastes that might disturb the patient during surgery.

Finally, Rodin Splint 2.0 resin is formulated to produce durable and effective appliances including splints, night guards, retainers, and snoring devices, that can be used to manage bruxism, grinding, and snoring. Additionally, the material provides clear appliances free from odors or tastes for optimal patient comfort and esthetics.
