New toothpaste contains chlorine dioxide to clean between teeth
Chlorine dioxide disinfectant, ClO2, well known as a biofilm remover in commerce and industry, is now available in DIOXIBRITE™ Toothpaste. This ingredient, combined in an oral product, removes stubborn films on teeth and gums harboring bacteria and odorous compounds. Additionally, chlorine dioxide, as a small non ionic molecule and a gas, easily penetrates between the teeth.
After years of testing, the new DIOXIBRITE Toothpaste claims a complete oral health package: oxidation of odors, deactivation of gram negative bacteria, non abrasive, non drying action --- combined with pleasant mint flavor. The Toothpaste, in vitro (in the lab), is effective against viruses, spores, and yeast, as well as bacteria.
